Siemens Gamesa revealed as it awards Cadeler for turbine installation for the Danish offshore wind project Aflandshage
The Aflandshage offshore wind farm is one of the Danish open-door projects that has received the green light for construction. Two contracts were revealed today as Cadeler was awarded the turbine installation contract by Siemens Gamesa and the turbine supplier was also for the first time revealed to be taking part in the project. As for Cadeler, the company has bagged a small, but profitable project where the vessel company will look at a day rate of 400.000+ USD. Further, this will be Siemens Gamesa’s second contract for this year, and both for Danish projects.Â
