Wind Osprey has finished turbine installation at Hollandse Kust Zuid I-IV and will now join Seajacks Scylla on Hollandse Kust Noord.
Hollandse Kust Zuid will be the largest offshore wind farm in the world when fully operational until surpassed by Dogger Bank. The project is unique in that it is the first project to use the Siemens Gamesa SG 11.0-200 MW turbine. Hollandse Kust Zuid is the first of several wind farms of the Hollandse Kust family to be constructed in the Dutch sector of the North Sea.
Turbine installation took just over one year to complete, as the first turbine was installed April 2022. Wind Osprey will now continue to work in the sector installing the same turbine model at Hollandse Kust Noord.
