Maersk Supply Service added an additional vessel to its fleet to meet the demand in the European market.
The second newbuild vessel project announced by Maersk Supply Services will be in collaboration with GustoMSC to design the jack up. Maersk Supply Service states that the second newbuild vessel will be similar to their first newbuild which is a vessel designed around a feeder concept for the US offshore wind market. GustoMSC is already heavily involved with the first new build vessel where the company is delivering a variety of equipment. The GustoMSC design for the second vessel will most likely distinguish itself from the first newbuild design and one could draw the assumption that it will be influenced by GustoMSC’s NG-20000X jack up design.Â
