Havfram awarded its first offshore wind contract

Havfram has booked its first job at Hornsea 3, with its new build jack up vessel currently under construction. Havfram is a newcomer in the offshore wind installation segment and has plans to build several jack up vessels capable of foundation and turbine installation. At the moment the company has one vessel under construction and one more planned to be built. Furthermore, several vessels are on option. The vessel design chosen is a modified version of the GustoMSC jack up NG-20000X which is suitable for foundation installation as well as turbine installation.
