After 2 months of no installation at Dogger Bank the project will finally resume monopile installation

That the transition pieces are moved to the quayside can only mean one thing and that is the Dogger Bank offshore wind project will resume monopile installation again. It will not be Seaway Strashnov kicking off the installation campaign due to the vessel needing a yard visit. A substitute vessel will take Seaway Strashnov’s place for the time being – which vessel will be revealed in the next couple of days. 17 monopiles were already installed last year, scour protection is close to being complete and monopile and transition pieces are fully stacked at the port. Now it is up to the port and vessel to deliver swift loading, transport and installation.
