The Jeonnam Sinnan Phase 1 project is nearing completion, with only the final turbine left to be erected. Hyundai Frontier has delivered an impressive performance, completing the turbine installation within 12 weeks—an admirable feat considering the developing nature of the South Korean offshore wind market.
This project serves as a steppingstone for future offshore wind developments in South Korea, as it marks the first use of large-scale turbines in the region. Developers SK E&S and CIP have gained valuable experience through this project, which will prepare them for future endeavors, including the subsequent phases of the Jeonnam Sinnan project.
