Van Oord's installation vessel, Svanen, has left the Baltic Eagle project site as it has installed all the monopiles for the project.
The Baltic Eagle offshore wind project is developed by Iberdrola and will have a capacity of 476 MW. Svanen began offshore installation for the monopiles on the 21st of April 2023, and the vessel installed its last foundation on the 28th of August 2023. All monopiles have been installed, but it seems that there is still work left for the installation of transition pieces. It is unclear whether Svanen will come back for the remaining TPs or if this will be done by another vessel.
