Les Alizés has started installing the monopiles at the Thor offshore wind farm.
RWE’s Danish offshore wind project, Thor, has officially begun foundation installation. When completed, the project will have a total capacity of 1,100 MW. Les Alizés is tasked with installing 72 monopiles, which will support 72 Siemens Gamesa SG 14.0-236 turbines. The installation marks a major milestone in the construction of one of Denmark’s largest offshore wind farms.
