Jan De Nul’s heavy-lift vessel Les Alizés will install the monopile foundations at Inch Cape, with offshore installation expected to begin in late 2025.
The heavy-lift vessel Les Alizés will transport and install the monopile foundations for the project later this year. Inch Cape is a UK-based project located off the coast of Scotland. The project has a capacity of 1,080 MW, generated by 72 V236-15.0 turbines from Vestas. The project will feature two types of foundations: monopiles and jackets. Les Alizés is responsible for installing the monopiles, while Seaway 7 will install the jackets and transition pieces for the monopiles. Cadeler is in charge of turbine installation.
