The South Korean project Jeonnam Sinnan completed foundation installation earlier this month and will begin the first load-out for the turbines in September.

SK E&S’s Jeonnam Sinnan Phase 1 is progressing well. Hyundai Frontier has completed the foundation work at the site and is now waiting in Mokpo Port for turbine installation, which will commence next month. The project, which is owned by SK E&S in partnership with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), has a capacity of around 100 MW and will use the SG-10.0-193 turbines from Siemens Gamesa. The project is situated on the southwestern coast of the South Korean peninsula.
