Measures are being taken to ensure the development of offshore wind in the Philippines as six companies have come together to form an offshore wind organization.
The offshore wind organization being established is called “Philipinas Offshore Wind Energy Resource Inc. (POWER).” This newly formed organization consists of six companies, and its primary objective is to expedite the growth of offshore wind in the Philippines. These companies will contribute their expertise to guide the industry in the right direction within the country.
The companies that are part of this newly formed organization are:
- ACEN
- Blue Circle
- BlueFloat Energy
- Citicore Renewable Energy Corp
- Ignis ZA Global
- Marubeni Asian Power Philippines Corp.
