The Colombian Ministry of Mines and Energy has said the first-ever offshore wind allocation round will be delayed. The round for allocating project capacity in the Atlántico area on the northwest coast was originally planned to open this fall but has been delayed due to a need to finalize tender documents alongside other government bodies. The Ministry has stated the work on the call specifics were 90 % complete during the first half of 2023. No new date for when the tender documents would be finalized or when an allocation round would take place.
