MOTIE has concluded the latest allocation round, awarding contracts to five new offshore wind projects.
Following up on last year’s success, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) has concluded this year’s allocation of fixed price allocations, and awards five new offshore wind proejcts with 20-year contracts. The total capacity awarded amounts to 1886 MW, and is split between four fixed projects, and one floating. The winners of this year’s round are the projects:
- Anma 1&2 (532 MW), Fixed – Equis, estimated COD 2028/2029
- Yeonggwang Yawol (104 MW), Fixed – DGP/Doosan GeoSolution, estimated COD 2027/2028
- Taean (500 MW), Fixed – CIP/Vena Energy, estimated COD 2028/2029
- Firefly (750 MW), Floating – Equinor, estimated COD 2030/2031
